What makes us STATIC?
Welcome to STATIC, where records are still made by people in a room.
We sign artists early and stay for the long run — recording, publishing, management and live booking under one roof in Amsterdam-West. No algorithms deciding the release schedule, no five-year plans written by people who have never been to a show, and no artist on the roster we wouldn’t happily pay to see.
We started in 2014 with one show in a gym hall and a borrowed PA. Ten years later we run a studio, a vinyl pressing deal, a small jazz imprint and a weekender that sells out in an afternoon — and we still pack every merch box ourselves, usually on a Friday night with the radio on.
Beyond the releases, STATIC is a place. Our depot hosts songwriting nights for teenagers, a free studio hour every Wednesday, and a club night that pays every DJ the same. Music is the reason we exist; the people who keep turning up for it — on stage, at the door and on the floor — are the reason we stay.

Built on patience and a deep love of the work, STATIC is less a company than a crew that happens to put out records.
We listen first, we sign slowly, and we make room for artists and audiences to grow up together.
